Eine Weltzeituhr, herausgegeben zum 100 jährigen Jubiläum der Firma Schott Glaswerke, eingefügt in einen Rohglasquader. Die Uhr hat zwei einstellbare Skalen, eine beschriftet mit großen Städten der Welt, die durch das Rändelrad unter der “6” verstellt werden kann, und eine mit 24 Stunden Einteilung, die über ein Rad auf der Rückseite gegen die zweite Skala verstellt werden kann. Damit kann man eine Stadt seiner Wahl als Zentrum unter die “12” stellen und auf der zweiten Skala dann die dazugehörige Zeit einstellen. Die Zeitskala läuft dann synchron mit der Uhr und zeigt entsprechend die Zeit der Städte an.. 

A world time clock, issued for the 100 years celebration of the glass manufacturing company Schott, imbedded in a raw glass square. The clock has two adjustable scales, one signed with large cities of the world, it can be adjusted by the small ratchet wheel under “6”, and one with 24 hour display, that can be adjusted against the second scale via the black knob on the back. So you can set the city of your choice below the “12” and set the second scale to the respective time. The time scale then runs synchronously with the clock and shows the time of the other cities.
